Course Description:

This 3 day course includes: Quick Safety Checks; Principles of Braking; Shifting and Using Gears; Steering & Turning; Basic Handling Drills; Legal Issues & Traffic Laws; Road Skills; Moving Hazards Group Riding; Maintenance Skills; Community Policing and Bike Patrol Tactics. This is a condensed course. Classes meet 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and there will be two hours of homework. Hours of instruction will be 33 and POST credit hours awarded will be 16.

Wesleyan Public Safety will be hosting a three day IPMBA - MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAINING program on June 21, 22 and 23, 2009 at its campus in Middletown , Connecticut . The cost is $275.00 per person.
